£ For birthdays, Christmas, anniversaries etc, instead of presents offer to do jobs or favours for people ie: fix something, tidy the garden, do some decorating, mind the kids, make them a picnic or offer a massage or facial?

There’s finally a safer way to dispose of batteries locally – libraries throughout Southwark have collection tubes in their foyers.
