I offer psychotherapy to children, adolescents, adults, and families from many walks of life, and cultures. I also offer movement therapy groups. My work is strength based and helps clients see the ways that they are capable of making positive change in their lives.

I have experience working with many issues including:

    • Depression, Anxiety, and Bipolar.
    • Trauma, sexual abuse, and child abuse
    • Parenting, divorce, behavior issues, and parent-child bonding
    • Relationship issues and communication
    • Grief, loss and anger
    • Personal Growth

       

My Work: In therapy I work to build a collaborative relationship with clients so we can address client’s issues as a team and work towards resolution. We work on three levels, with thoughts, the way thinking patterns can keep us stuck in unpleasant relationships and emotional states, with emotions, making room for emotions to be felt and let go, and with the body and how the body awareness can support healthy thought patterns, emotional stability, and general well being.

For young children, play therapy and family therapy support children most in their healing. With adolescents and adults I offer talking therapy as well as movement therapy though there is no requirement for doing body oriented work.
