The symposium follows the successful symposia in Lille 2006, Aarhus 2007, Amsterdam 2008, and Sonoma 2009. The symposium is a two-day pre-MIE event, in cooperation with FDH, EFMI and MIE 2011. The symposium will be hosted by the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) and the National Research Centre on Electronic Health Records (NSEP) in Trondheim. The purpose of the event is to provide an arena for practitioners and researchers in Human Factors Engineering in Health Informatics to exchange experience on state-of-the art in the field, and thus to maintain and expand the existing international network. The symposium further provides an opportunity for young researchers to get feedback on their research from experienced researchers, and get their results disseminated. |
