I am presently working in the Throop Ecosystem Ecology & Biogeochemistry Lab at NMSU. My research interests are currently focused on understanding novel drivers of decomposition in Arid and Semi Arid systems. My work at the Jornada LTER in S. New Mexico aims to assess the influence of eolian processes, and soil mixing as novel mechanisms of decomposition.
