Star-Entity

As an Entity is defined according to the relationship between itself and others, and gains connections by the recognition of this commonality through Interpretation, so some Entities may find relationships to a great many others and become increasingly recognized within the world; this is a Star-Entity.

The term "star" here denotes an Entity of great mass and light: The massive number of connections, and/or the ubiquitous nature of its Being, deems that it shall be Interpreted alongside a very large number of Entities, and in pulling more Entities into its sphere it acts as if it has an attractive force.  By the light of the Interpretation it serves to illuminate other Entities with, perhaps, such strength as to create a "bent" to the functioning of Dasein.

There are, as with emotions, broadly speaking two classes of Star-Entity; those of a functional origin and those of contextual origin.  Examples of functional Star-Entities include the concepts of "death", "a God" or "self".  Contextual Star-Entities may be relatively diverse and are more culturally determined, some examples are "revenge", "Jesus" or any addictive activity (sex, taking drugs, gambling etc).

What is unique and important about Star-Entities is the prevalence with which they form connections with other Entities and, in turn, be associated in thought with many other Entities through Interpretation.  Let us look at a common example; death.  The young instance knows nothing of this concept
