This is the state of Dasein in a possible future, the nature of this possibility being determined by the Interpretation, Anticipation, and perhaps modified to some extent by Interpretive feedback from the derivative Potentiality-for-Being. The benefit for Dasein in predicting a future is that it can act on what may happen before it actually does. The "Potentiality" in question is always that of Entities held within Dasein, so is at the most basic level a Potentiality for the Being-of-Entities-within-the-World. Accordingly, the Potentiality is, within Dasein, not only that of the world but also of itself in the Anticipated Entity of Dasein. Now, co-evolved with the Anticipation, to create the Potentiality-for-Being, is the Making-Present to bring this back to the Now. In this process of Making-Present, of comparing the Potentiality-for-Being with the senses, the Potentiality may be fulfilled or unfulfilled. Fulfilled is where the Potentiality matches, more or less, what comes to pass, and unfulfilled is where the Potentiality does not correspond with what comes to pass. Fulfilled / The World Expectation has been realised, so the Potentiality was successful in Anticipating the future. This is the best and, in a sufficiently experienced Dasein, most common situation, for Dasein is "mentally in tune" with its environment, is therefore safer and less likely to make potentially fatal mistakes. Fulfilled / The Entity of Dasein Aside from the possible psychological interpretations of this action, a fulfilled Anticipation of the self is generally going to reaffirm the accuracy of the self Entity. In the context of the model, this can lead to the Entity forming widespread and dominant inter-relations with other Entities, with the World, so creating a Star-Entity. ** Under work... ** Unfulfilled / The World As described in the Development of Dasein this leads to the feeling of Shock within Dasein: The senses recorded a World state that did not conform to the Potentiality, the degree of this disparity correlating with the degree of Shock, a hard-wired emotion in response to a dangerous situation. The original function and worth of the Potentiality-for-Being lies entirely in its ability to predict the future so that Dasein may act on this. Unfulfilled / The Entity of Dasein The primary purpose of the Potentiality-for-Being is first made apparent in the fulfilled and unfulfilled Potentiality of the World, then completed in the unfulfilled Potentiality of the self. When the World-Potentiality is not realised, it is Made present, forced into the Now, by the senses. The Entity of Dasein has two possibilities however.
