Transportation for Matches:
Home (includes away matches to Hilliard Memorial and Hilliard Weaver): Players will leave school as usual, but must return to the school by the posted time to arrive for a match. This arrival time will be added to the 2009 Schedule as kick-off times are confirmed as we get closer to the soccer season. Again, please remember that our "away" matches at Hilliard Memorial and Hilliard Weaver will be treated as "home" matches and will not include bus transportation. Also, there will not be any bus transportation for the UA Jones match on September 9, primarily due to the late start time of 7:15 p.m. resulting in a rather late finish.
Away (does not include Hilliard Memorial, Hilliard Weaver, and UA Jones): For away matches on a school day, players will stay after school and then be taken to the away match via bus. You will need to provide your son a meal / snack for when he is waiting at the school. Remember, he ate lunch around noon, but our match may not end until close to 7:00 p.m. depending upon the official start time. This after-school meal / snack will be important for energy during the match. The bus will then bring the players back to Heritage. The people responsible for picking up players must be at the school prior to the arrival of the bus. For those players that may not ride a specific bus back to Heritage, I will have a sign-up sheet at those away matches. A parent must sign the sheet to acknowledge that his / her son is not riding the bus back to Heritage. |
