The Hercules Sustainable Community Garden Foundation is proud to announce our 2nd Annual Harvest Festival. The Harvest Festival will be held in Ohlone Park at
the Community Garden on Saturday, October 2, 2010. The hours are from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM. There is no charge for admission to the Festival. For individuals
needing assistance getting to the Garden from the Ohlone parking area there will be a golf cart shuttle available which will take you to the gate of the garden.
We will have good food, a Silent Auction, games for the children, educational opportunities, tours of the Garden by the Gardeners, visit our new Chickens, check out our
educational programs, taste some fresh heirloom tomatoes, listen to beautiful music while strolling through the garden or show your artistic side by painting a clay
pot. These are just a few of the things you will enjoy.
Tickets will be offered at $1.00 each which may be used for the Kids Games, Restaurants, Plant Sales and other fund raising activities. The money resulting from the
ticketed activities will provide the Garden with the funds to continue projects with the Schools, Library and sustain the Garden’s growth.
