In 2012 our plant sale was held on March 19th at GroMoore. Each year we hold a plant sale which is the club's only fundraiser each year and the proceeds fund our speakers and other activities. In previous years we have held it at the end of May at Warner Castle on Mt. Hope Avenue. In March 2011 we held a 2 day sale at GroMoore 2811 East Henrietta Road from 9AM to 5PM. In March 2012 we held a 1 day sale at GroMoore and it was a resounding success again! This year we will also be holding a fall plant sale on September 22nd from 9-5 pm at Hansen Nature Center (Tinker) on Calkins Rd Club members bring their contributions to our holding area at the Town Hall on the Friday night before the sale to price them up and make sure that they have descriptive markers on each plant.
Members also volunteer to help at the sale.
