About Soaring Hawks
The Soaring Hawks Foundation (SHF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization created with the goal of changing the way we fund enrichment activities. As the fundraising arm for Hembree Springs, SHF works closely with the administration, staff, and the PTA. Donations raised through SHF directly fund PTA programs, as well as capital improvements for the school.
PTA programs funded through SHF include: Science Days, Student Book Publishing, Reflections, Student Subscriptions such as Weekly Readers, test prep material and student agendas
Capital improvement activities include investments in classroom technology, staff development and curriculum resources. The Foundation benefits students, staff, and parents:

Thank you to our almost 160 families, faculty, and staff who have donated to 2011 Annual Campaign. We need every Hembree Springs family to help us make our goal. Together we will Help our Hawks Soar! | Help Our Hawks Soar in 2011 - 2012! The 2011-2012 Soaring Hawks Annual Fund Campaign has been extended until October 14th, so more classes can
achieve fun rewards, like crazy hair day, but we need your help.
The
foundation has committed to fund $30,000 of the PTA budget for this year. We need each
of our 650 Hembree Springs families to help make this goal; and no donation is too small - $75, $50, or
$25. Or consider making a tiny monthly donation - $10 a month would be $120 in a
year for Hembree Springs! This is the primary fundraising event for Hembree Springs Elementary School. Your contributions will help provide for PTA programs, interactive teaching tools, extracurricular learning opportunities and fun events for our students and staff. Our goal this year is to raise $75,000. Of this amount, we hope to raise $60,000 through direct donations from our 650 families and staff, or about $95 per family.
Please consider making a donation of $100 or more and take advantage of the tax deductions and corporate matching for 2011.
Remember grandparents, aunts, uncles and friends can all donate too. Remember, 100% of all donations to SHF directly benefit Hembree Springs.
