I study how interactions among soil microbes affect
plant carbon allocation, sequestration of soil carbon, disease severity
and the mutualistic capabilities of root colonists. The ultimate goal
of my research is to devise novel techniques for manipulating
rhizosphere conditions to better control disease and improve plant
productivity.
