We are a small ranch raising rabbits and goats in Central Kansas.   We are offer rabbits and goats for sale seasonally.  If you see something you like, feel free to make me an offer, as my dad says, "everything is for sale at the right price" HOWEVER, there are animals my kids have priced as "priceless".

We started in 2007 with a few pet rabbits and then got our first Holland Lop rabbits to start our breeding and showing program.  Along the way, we have added Netherland Dwarf, Californian and Florida White breeds and at one time had  Standard Rex and Standard Satin rabbits.  My daughter has done very well with her Holland Lops and is now pursuing breeding the Netherland Dwarf rabbits.  My son has started with meat breeds and is working with Florida Whites and Californian breed rabbits.  I have stayed with the Holland Lops and will continue to breed and to show them with a focus on BEW (blue eyed white) Hollands.  We are members of the Three Corners Rabbit Club, the Kansas State Rabbit Breeders Association, the Kansas Holland Lop Club and the American Rabbit Breeders Association.

2007 we also got started with goats and got a few Pygmys and all of a sudden we had a lot of Pygmy goats.  They are a lot of fun but then in 2010 we got our first meat goats for showing in 4-H and that lead to a new herd of Boer and Boer cross goats.

Our first kids have come and gone out of our starter herd and we learned a lot.  The Pygmys have gone to a new home as pets and the boer herd is growing and improving.  Over the spring and summer, we have added purebred does from several area breeders as well as getting 2 registered bucks and 3 registered does from Tancy at McDaniel Ranch.  We are now breeding for registered percentage breeding stock as well as for market (meat) sales and 4-H.  I am eagerly looking forward to seeing what kids we get out of this group as well as planning the breeding for the doe kids.

My daughter showed an interest in dairy goats so we have a couple of those too that were in the starter herd I bought.  At this point, she has "borrowed" out of my herd an Oberhasli, a Nubian and a Nubian-Boer cross doe as well as claiming a couple kids.  Of course, what she has claimed are spotted so I'm hoping I get my own spotted does out of my buck Lucky.  She has found her own LaMancha and a registered Nubian an plans to breed to a registered Nubian for show kids.  Hopefully they have doelings and the does will return to my herd for commercial production.

It'sbeen  an exciting year for us getting established with our production herd and we are looking forward to raising, showing and learning even more in the goat business. Check back often for updates on how we are doing in our projects.
