Service

We had a little trouble designing our service, because we knew we weren't too fond of the way the typical marriage ceremony was set up in the Book of Common Prayer.  Our officiant recommended checking out the New Zealand Prayer Book, and we're so glad we did.  The third form for marriage there is beautiful, and it's what we chose to use.  You can click on the links below to see the pages of the actual service (if you're so inclined).  I put them online because I had the WORST time finding the New Zealand book of Prayer online, so I thought I'd help out other brides.

Decor

Don't know how this is going to work out (or if it's going to work out), but we're trying to do something similar to the pics below for our ceremony.  The orchids would be spaced out a little more (meaning on strand every two or three rows instead of every row), and the non-chuppah chuppah (we're not Jewish, but FI has been to a billion Jewish weddings and really likes the symbolism of creating a sacred space for our ceremony) will be simpler (read: it will be covered in curly willow and scattered orchids instead of fabric).
