Noni Kaufman
Wellness Business Consultant and Health Coach
I've spent the last 35 years, among other things, studying and taking courses in holistic health and wellness. I'm always on the path to feel better and help others (who are ready and willing) to jog along with me! Over the years I've worked with hundreds of clients globally in business consulting and health coaching.
This all started because my mom was really sick when I was 3 and my dad worked like a dog trying to make ends meet and then got ill himself. He died way to early at 55 while I was a Freshman in college. I often feel like I missed the best years of friendship we could have shared. From these childhood experiences, I developed a deep desire to find ways to stay healthy! Also I wanted a way to create income where I could help others with some great products and services. That was my early dream, but I couldn't quite figure out how that would take shape.
I worked briefly as a social worker (the system was too depressing for me to stay very long!) and for many years as a counselor and did admissions review at UCLA's Business School. After completing an MBA in marketing and finance at UCLA, I went on to work in marketing, training, and customer service for a leading edge company in the computer industry.
A few years of working in a big company made me weary of giving all my time and skills for others' visions and dreams. I soon got a taste for being an entrepreneur, wanting to apply independent thinking and creativity towards projects I
cared about and surround myself with people I chose to be around.
So I ventured out on my own, being mentored by a few experienced folks and started working with a direct marketing company -- learning about being my own boss and the leader of my own pack. I was able to build a team and develop and mentor leaders. In one of our wellness businesses, I became one of the first 35 members of their million dollar earners. Kind of had to pinch myself--but it was real. As a result, I've enjoyed a great lifestyle where I can continue to study what's fascinating to me, choose where I want to live, travel when I want and work the hours I choose, and have built some wonderful relationships with my business partners and colleagues! I've been able to attend all the special events at my daughter's school and select schools best suited for her.

from having my own business--we were able to take off (without a boss's permission) to spend a month in Colombia completing the adoption process when she was ten weeks of age. This was a great adventure to Brazil a few years back. We got to stay with local people in a small village where people travel from all over the world to be visit renowned healers and we spent time in Brazilia and got to relax and play at some wonderful resorts.
