Sandra Holm is a wife, mother/grandmother, teacher, and
artist from Childersburg,
Alabama.
With a BFA degree from the University
of Montevallo and a Masters in
Education from UAB, she has been employed with the Talladega County Board of
Education for 29 years. Holm is
presently the art teacher at Lincoln Elementary
School in Lincoln,
Alabama where she teaches students in
kindergarten through fifth grade. She
has exhibited in local libraries and museums in the Talladega
county area. Her work mainly consists of
drawings in pencil and color pencil, oils paintings and collage/mixed media
works. The past three years, Holm has
perused an interest in plein air painting. As a member of the Alabama Plein Air
Painters, Holm looks forward to participating in various painting outings. Holm has attended plein air workshops in Alabama
and Italy and
recently attended the 2nd Annual Plein Air Festival in Gadsden,
Alabama.
