Barbara Morgan received her M.F.A. degree in painting and photography and her B.A. in Humanities from the University of Alabama. In addition, she received her M.S. Ed. degree in Administration and Supervision with a Visual Arts Focus from Parsons School of Design and Bank Street College of Education. She taught at University of Alabama at Birmingham, University of Montevallo, North Georgia College and State University and The Donoho School. Morgan recently retired from UAB and now works in her Birmingham studio.

Morgan is represented in Birmingham by Maralyn Wilson and in NYC by Denise Bibro.
