Really Useful Stuff (RUS) Handbook
The RUS Handbook was produced by
Lincolnshire County Council as a practical toolkit to running a
voluntary or community group. It was written by a selection of external
consultants - Ruth was the author of the Running Your Group chapter. Copies
of the RUS Handbook can be downloaded from the Healthy Communities

OCN Level 2 in Voluntary Sector Management
The revised version of the above course will be delivered in the autumn in partnership with Boston
College and South Lincolnshire CVS. This accredited
qualification is suitable for people involved in the voluntary sector,
as staff, trustees or volunteers. It covers key aspects of voluntary sector management including governance; charity and employment law; personnel management; responsibilities of committee members and finance.
The course will be delivered over eight weeks starting on Thursday, 16 September in Boston. It will be delivered by South Lincolnshire CVS and Ruth will be undertaking the assessment. For further details please contact
