The 2011 Music Educator of
the Year committee met and chose three people from the pool of
nominations. We would like to thank the people who took the time to
nominate the numerous music educators who are such fine examples of what

Local musician and
teacher, Monica Schwarz, has started a Facebook page for parents,
teachers and students to support school music in Howard County. The
idea is to have a facebook site to share ideas, news and other musical
