Help Reconcile Families In Your Own Community.
Angel Tree is a ministry that reaches out to the children of inmates
and their families with the love of Christ. It seeks to transform the
lives of these families and to reconcile them to their Heavenly Father
and each other.
Every child has a story. For 1.5 million American children, that story
is filled with the abandonment, loneliness, and shame that comes from
having a mom or dad in prison. For many, it may also include following
their parents down the same destructive road to incarceration.
So we hope to end this destructive cycle by bringing the inmates and families closer in a meaningful way and providing gifts to these often forgotten children at Christmas time.
But the ministry does not stop there, as a member church of the Angel Tree Program. Victory Bible Church continues its outreach to these families by offering a local church for the families of inmates and their children to re-start their lives a new and
grow in the knowledge and love of Jesus Christ. That's because the Bible promises, "If anyone is in Christ, he is a new
creation; the old has gone, the new has come!" And we believe that
"anyone" includes prisoners.
