 My name is Hayley Young. I am a make-up artist based in Yorkshire. I was awarded a degree in Make-up Artistry and Special Effects Make-up from Bradford College as well as a BTEC in Beauty Therapy Sciences from Hull College. I offer a range of services to the industry as well as the public from make-up and face painting to special effects and life castings. I am available for filming, theatre, events and special occasions. BECTU (Broadcasting Entertainment Cinematography and Theatre Union) registered and CRB checked.
I have always been interested in make-up from a young age and I knew exactly the career I wanted to pursue when I finished school.
I did my Beauty course at Hull College and thoroughly enjoyed it, although beauty was not something I wanted to go in to it gave me a basic framework to build and expand upon when training to become a make-up artist. I did my degree at Bradford College and throughout the course I had many varied experiences from catwalks to filming. |
