What to Bring - Bible - if you don't have one, we'll give you one to keep!

- Canteen money (But we recommend pre-paying your canteen when you register). - Sleeping bag
- Pillow
- Toiletries such as soap, shampoo, toothpaste & toothbrush - Towel & Washcloth
- Flashlight
- Sunscreen
- Insect repellent & long sleeve shirts
Please label all clothes and personal belongings! | What not to Bring - Candy & Snacks - A canteen (snack shop) opens once each day. Buy a canteen card (prepaid tab) when you register.
- Extra Money - Parents may purchase camp clothing etc. at the beginning & end of camp. - Valuables and expensive clothing. - Cameras are at risk as they are prone to being lost or damaged. Consider a disposable camera with your camper's name on it.
- Cell Phones. If a camper needs to call home, a camp staff person will call on you're child's behalf. - Radios, MP3 Players, IPods, Nintendo DS, etc. If campers bring such items, they will be confiscated and returned at the end of camp as electronic entertainment disrupts camp life and community. - Knives
- Pets
- Alcohol & drugs are not permitted.
- Underage smoking is not allowed.
Hastings reserves the right to send any camper home if they do not comply with camp regulations. Under such circumstances there will be no refund. |
