With all of the things that you hear in the news, you might very well be nervous about using your credit card online.  However, the fact of the matter is that if you are careful about where you shop and who you trust your credit card info with, shopping with your credit card online is just as safe as shopping with it in a brick and mortar store.

When you do use your credit card online, make sure that you only use it on secure sites.  You can tell if a site is secure by looking at the URL address.
