 Introduction

CaretBlink Xtra for Macromedia Director, Provides the facility to get and change the blink-rate of the system caret/Cursor.

Target Platforms

CaretBlink Xtra is designed to run on Macromedia Director version 6 and above on Windows using Windows 95 OSR2, 98, 98 SE, Me, NT 4 or Windows 2000, and XP. This Xtra is not Shockwave-safe.

CaretBlink Xtra’s Functions

There is no need to instantiate or create an instance of this xtra.

RegCaretBlink()

Description: Registers CaretBlink Xtra.

Syntax: RegCaretBlink (Serial)

Parameters

Serial : String Value, Serial number to register CaretBlink Xtra.

Return Values: NA

Example: Reg CaretBlink(“s1Al04dK-l2$$ask3j-kKk-A1c23f0o0-as1lLid1jl”)

GetCaretBlink()

Description: Return Caret Blink Rate in ms.

Syntax: GetCaretBlink()

Parameters: None

Return Values: Integer Value showing the caret blink rate in ms.

Examples: Put GetCaretBlink

SetCaretBlink()

Description: Set Caret Blink Rate in ms.

Syntax: SetCaretBlink (Int_MilSecs)

Parameters

Int_MilSecs : Integer Value, Caret Blink rate to be set in ms.

Return Values: NA

Example: SetCaretBlink(500)
