Helen is enthusiastic about Svaroopa® Yoga because it is so gentle, easy and effective in releasing tension and anxiety, while supporting strengthening and resilience. In a background of soft music, classes support wide variety of clients and client needs, using props and hands-on assists. If you think you could never do yoga, try this style! Small class size and a simple setting create a soothing atmosphere. The center is completely equipped with props. This is a friendly, comfortable, small-town place.

Previously a Certified Social Worker, Helen has been a yoga instructor since 1994.  She has been teaching Svaroopa® yoga since 1997.  "Svaroopa® yoga has required a great deal of training, and every moment has been well worth it", says Helen.

Helen is a also a Svaroopa® Yoga Therapist. Svaroopa® yoga therapy sessions are individual sessions which are highly effective at getting to the source of back problems. Dressed in loose, comfortable clothing, you lie with your legs elevated while Helen facilitates the release of your spinal muscles, jumpstarting your body's ability to heal itself. 

Private yoga sessions are also available for people who need extra help with yoga poses, due to special concerns.
