We
study the biophysics of the genome at multiple levels. At the primary level,
DNA wraps around histone proteins to form nucleosomes. At the secondary
level, nucleosomes are positioned along
the DNA. At the tertiary level, chromosomal DNAs adopt preferred conformations
in the nucleus.
Several research projects aimed at these different levels are under way. |
