     Welcome 6th, 7th, & 8th grade families to the Hardy Middle School Visual Arts Website for Room 104.  I am sure that the information provided here will help to make this year a successful one.  This site will give many tools to complement every child’s quest for understanding assignments  and doing well in class. It will also give kudos to the dynamic art students that are here at Hardy.                                                         

          
       Throughout this year, students will use their creativity to express themselves through their art.  This will be accomplished through finding out why we do art and what art tells us about our past, exploring various media, learning about artists, analyzing different types of works of art in order to make judgments, and learning to see that art is everywhere. In addition, students will be able to visualize that art is integrated into every subject you  study in school; language arts, history, math, and science. 
      Please take time and explore the various contents that are here.  My goal is to be sure that all students are successful in Visual Arts.  Welcomeito our site!
