Happy Glass is bright cheerful everyday jewellery designed to go with everything from business suits to blue jeans.

BJ Sandiford

BJ (Bonnie Jean) is a "washed ashore" Prince Edward Islander. She grew up in Ottawa, Canada and studied fashion design at St. Lawrence College.

The call of adventure took her to Mahone Bay, Iqaluit, Yellowknife and eventually, Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island.

BJ started Happy Glass in 2004. She set out to make bright, cheerful everyday jewellery inspired by the sights, sounds and smells of her adopted home.

BJ and her staff make Happy Glass in her bustling studio on Victoria Row in historic downtown Charlottetown.

Each Happy Glass design is available in earrings, bracelets and necklaces.

French earring wires are sterling silver.

Bracelets and necklaces fasten with a toggle finding. They are strung with nylon-coated, stainless steel wire.
