Welcome (friends and family and wandering souls)
You have reached my website (lucky you!). On the menu to the left there are two groups of links. The first group allows you to navigate within this website to pages devoted to my interests, and a snapshot of my personal blog. Stay tuned for much more as I build this site; I'm trying to figure out how to get my Google Reader patched in with the least amount of ongoing effort on my part (i.e. not having to share individual posts/articles) [I think I have accomplished this in the menu bar of my blog], and I'm trying to think of a way to create a useful version of my Google Calendar that doesn't say "Hey, I'm not home from 9 to 5, this would be a good time to rob my apartment!" As always, I'm open to suggestions for additions to this site or topics for blog posts. The second group of links, handily labeled 'links,' navigates you away from this site to some of my other pages like my CV/resume/professional profile, my Flickr stream, my Facebook and Twitter profiles, my general and applied blogs or you can email me.  |  I am 32 years old. I have been happily married for over two years. I am a PhD candidate at the University of Toronto, where I study the history of science and technology. I enjoy getting away to the cottage or on an adventure trip whenever possible. I am a proud uncle of four nephews. I love to play and watch sports. I like photography, music and art. |
