We are looking for a Volunteer Co-ordinator to deliver this project through to June 2010. The closing date for applications is Friday 25 September 09.

Positive Minds Client Support Worker (22.5 hrs pw) - this position is now closed

HWCP’s exciting new Positive Minds project is looking to fill the new post of 

Positive Minds Client Support Worker (22.5 hours pw)

(£23,274 – 26,095 pro-rata)

This post provides one-to-one support for residents of Hartcliffe & Withywood, who are experiencing short or long term mental & emotional distress.  The postholder will:

  • Support clients in developing a personal action plan to improve or rediscover skills, experience and confidence and, where appropriate, access paid employment.
  • Help clients access practical help and support from other agencies to deal with the issues in their lives which cause distress

Closing Date for Applications: 12noon, Fri 11th September 2009.

Interviews planned for 25th September 2009.

Funding for this post has been secured until 30th June 2010.

  • Are you a strategic thinker, able to see the bigger picture and make the links without losing the attention to detail?
  • Can you work under pressure, meet deadlines and manage conflicting demands?
  • Do you have extensive management experience and the ability to work with a wide range of partners in the public, private, community and voluntary sectors?
  • Do you have good communication skills and enjoy working with people?

Neighbourhood Manager (£35,969 - £41,608) 

We are looking for someone to take HWCP though its next phase of development: to   advise, support and work with the HWCP board in their aim of regenerating Hartcliffe and Withywood. This includes delivering neighbourhood management and partnership, supporting HWCP projects and overseeing a 15 strong staff team and an annual budget of £650,000.  

Secondments are welcome. 

The closing date for applications is noon, Friday 7th August 09.    Interviews are planned for Friday 14th August 09.

Funding for the post has been secured until at least 31st  March 2010.  Further funding beyond 31st March 2010 is being sought.
