Special notes on Schedule of matches: 1). Based on the program we are using, "Badminton Tournament Software", sponsored by ServeNplay, the divisions of A, B, C, D will be very similar to what we've explained in our current webpage of "Description", with minor changes, specifically, for the players without bye in their first round, winning the first round does not automatically put themselves in A/B-draw. They will have to win the next match to secure a seat of A/B. Explanation of the terms: "MS (or any other event)"=MS (or any other event) A, "MS plate"=MS C, MS special plate=MS B, MS Consolation plate=MS D 2). We will do our best, with your support to follow the schedule of matches. Please plan to arrive 30 min earlier than your first match. This would give you somewhat enough time to get yourself warmed-up & ready for the challenges. On the other hand, However, please do understand matches may be longer or shorter, which means some matches may be postponed or played earlier if all players agree to ensure we can have the tournament completed within the rental period. 3). Courts may be changed due to availability. 4). Upon rare occasions, if some players withdraw or get defaulted at the last minute, changes may have to be made accordingly to ensure players will play at least 3 matches. However, please do understand, we may not be able to make such changes. If changes cannot be make, 1) the player whose opponents withdraw or get defaulted will have the choice of advancing to the higher level or lower level. Upon such situations, we may not be able to guarrantee 3 matches per player. 5). 3 matches, MD B, C & D finals cannot be scheduled due to conflict of availability of players. These matches will be played as soon as the courts and players are available. Special notes on draws: 1. The draws were made by Hongbing & Pei-Ying. Our goal on the draw making is to obtain divisions of A, B, C & D, within each division, players will have comparable skills. This is based on the information we have (unfortunately, we do not know all of you, not before this tournament). So it may not be the best draw. 2. Some minor changes were made by Hongbing after the draws were posted online initially to achieve this goal upon his second thought. 3. There are a couple of requests for change of their draw positions-Sorry, to be fair to other players, changes won't be made upon these requests. Registration to 2011 Handsome Boy Cup Badminton Tournament is now CLOSED as of Today, Nov 30, 2011. If you are interested in joining this event and have missed the deadline to register, we welcome you to register early for the 2012 Handsome Boy Cup Badminton Tournament.
