CPSIA Locations of US Accredited Testing Labs for Lead in Paint

posted Jan 28, 2009 10:23 AM by cecilia leibovitz

Thank you to Michelle Minnich of HTA, and her 12 year old daughter for creating this POWERFUL talking point. Feel free to use this with your elected representatives as just another example of how the third party testing module in place right now creates a problem- LACK of widespread testing facilities in the USA.

This information comes DIRECTLY from the CPSC website. It shows one of two things:

Either
(a) there aren't enough labs in the US for third party testing for lead in paint
or
(b) information on nearby labs is difficult to obtain.
