Hand-crafted

All of the medallions I sell are made by hand. There are other sites offering mass-produced or laser-cut medallions but if you are looking for a truly one-of-a-kind floor medallion, look no further.

Materials and Quality

Medallions are made using a mix of hand selected domestic and exotic woods from around the world. Each piece is cut, fitted and edge glued to form an eye-catching display that will look great with any flooring style.

Finish

Medallions are sanded smooth and then sealed with a shellac based sealer that is compatible with any clear floor finish. They are ready to accept a finish to match your pre-finished flooring, or can be installed and sanded in unfinished flooring.

Installation-Ready

Medallions are assembled and finished to be compatable with standard flooring thickness dimensions. Each medallion is laminated to 9-ply Baltic Birch plywood to provide a solid base for final installation. The medallion itself is 9/32 inch thick and the Birch Ply is 15/32 inch thick,  which achieves a total thickness of 3/4 inch (standard solid wood flooring thickness).
