We should like to thank all those people who replied to our request for prioritisation of new features and some who actually have volunteered to make the changes!
We have given these due consideration and have set out the following road-map:
Version 0.7 (released 28th January 2011) Maintenance version, including: - Updated orbit calculation libraries which will reduce calculation time and improve accuracy
- Display of current and two future orbit ground tracks
- Display of current satellite footprint
- Ability to download keplerian elements from celestrak.com
Version 0.8 (early February) Maintenance version, including: - Bug fixes from 0.7
- Ground track map causing Forced Quit problem fixed.
- Save user settings / preferences between sessions
- Addition of SDP4 (High Elliptical Orbit) algorithm to support VEGA CubeSats
Version 0.9 (mid April, assuming FUNcube work does not take priority!) Maintenance version, including: - Bug fixes from 0.8
- Portrait / Landscape display of Map
- Grouping of satellites
- Schedule of passes using group information
