Over the past six months, the project has received a number of requests for new features from 28 people. Unfortunatley due to 'paid' work pressures, these have not been introduced. As the project now has more development resource, we aim to tackle the backlog.

The features which have been identified as being required are:

• Landscape display (1)
• Doppler correction information (1)
• Footprints (2)
• Use of Kilometers or Miles (2)
  
• Save last satellite viewed (2)
• Add the Moon as a satellite (2)
  
• Better choice of TLE source (2)
• Tracking of Multiple Satellites (3)
• An alarm for a selected pass or next satellite (3)
  
• Store more than one ground station location (3)
  
• Local or UTC timezone choice (3)
  
• Improved navigation between screens (3)
  
• Utilize the compass and tilt sensors to show when the phone is pointing at the satellite (4)
• Satellite information including frequencies, modes (5)
• Star chart (6)

The development team have also come up with:

• The ability to group satellites (3)
  
• A brief schedule of passes for a selected group (3)
  

The values which follow each item is the level of complexity of the development.

With respect to order of development, we should like to get a vote from the user community, taking into account the complexity values we've given them.

We should point out that we are considering making this a 'paid' app with ALL income going to the AMSAT-UK Satellite Building fund, which has made significant contributions to AMSAT projects world-wide.
