There is no try."~ Yoda, "Star Wars" WebRep Overall rating | As I mentioned during Open House back in September, I sometimes have trouble with the filters on my email, and occasionally do not receive an email. I ask yet again that if you do not hear back from me within 48 hours, please call me here at the school. I cannot respond to things I do not receive or know about. Thank you! This is it! This is the final week of school! It's been a great year, thanks to all of the kids and their hard work. The 8th Grade banquet and graduation were wonderful - 7th grade and their parents did an awesome job with the decorations, and they deserve kudos for their hard work on Thursday! As you should know, there have been a few changes to the school schedule for this week - the City of Waterbury has decided that Friday, June 17th will be a 10:45 dismissal. Monday, June 20th is also a 10:45 dismissal. We will be cleaning the classroom FULLY on Wednesday and Thursday, so please be prepared receive a flood of papers and notebooks! Final exams end this week - Religion and Spanish are Monday, with Science and Social Studies on Tuesday. I will also be giving make-up exams to students who were absent on any exam day on Tuesday. Patriotic Assembly will be held on June 20th in the morning - an exact time will be given later this week. Grades 4,5 and 6 traditionally perform in this event, and we will be practicing this week.
