At first, reading these charts can be a bit daunting, but this information is invaluable in that it tells us in black and white exactly what is happening in a timely basis in our neighborhoods by pricepoint. In reviewing each chart you will begin to see where there is an oversupply of inventory, and where the opportunities are! A quick tutorial on the terminology: the term "Active" means all listings that are either Active or Contingent on said date. It does not include those listings that are subject to inspection (STI). The term "Pending" refers to all listings that are under contract within the last 7 days. The term "Weeks Supply" refers to the number of weeks it will take to sell the existing inventory. This is determined by dividing the Active listings by the Pending sales. This information is grouped into several area "numbers" by geographical location. Below, is a brief description of the communities that are included in each area.380: Central Seattle, Mt.
