Haiti Redemption
Friday afternoon we glassed the deck of the Haiti Redemption. Here, I am working out a few persistent air bubbles as the resin begins to tack up. The "bubble breaker" style air roller in the center pic is 3 inches wide. The air bubble is the white spot. Building team RV and Josiah The deck is glassed! Saturday I worked on the gunwales while Josiah worked on the seat support boxes. It looks like Josiah is relegated to the outside of the shop to router the edges, but actually I was cutting up a board that was already glassed. You have not lived till you've cut up fiberglass with a skil-saw. The steps for fitting the boxes: 1) rough scribe 2) rough cut 3)careful scribe 4) careful cut 5) boxes fit great! Josiah could make a good boat builder if he cannot make it in the real world. Building team RV and Josiah Yes we are smiling ... someone said "ice-cream." Progress pictures show gunwale planking all glued in. Boxes and forward seat set in place, but not yet glued. Want to participate? Adopt a component |
We are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which He has prepared for us in advance to do. Ephesians 2:10
