Who are We?

Michelle Newkirk opened Hair Designers in October 2009.

Michelle Newkirk has been doing hair in Salem since 1990 and has a great passion for current trends in hair color and giving people education about their hair type. She loves to help people with their curly hair and understands how to cut and style it, for she has natural curly hair herself. She is a Joico color specialist and can correct even the most horrible at home color disaster. She is certified in CHI Japanese Hair Straightening system and has been utilizing the system since 2003. Michelle managed several salons in Salem and Lincoln City for the Regis corporation before she purchased Salon Phoenix in south Salem in 2001. She sold Salon Phoenix in 2008 and opened Hair Designers in 2009. She can be reached directly (503)851-0392.

Jessie Weimar joined Hair Designers in 2012. She has over 15 years of experience and works on Sundays. She can be reached directly at (503) 428-8916.
