Haiku Day at the Seattle Japanese Garden

Celebrate International Haiku Writing Day at the Seattle Japanese Garden (see garden event page and Facebook invitation), in Seattle’s Washington Park Arboretum, by participating in a relaxing and inspirational day of haiku poetry. Sponsored by Haiku Northwest, Haiku Day features introductory writing workshops, haiku walks, installations, craft activities, readings, and more, with poetry from Haiku Northwest (in English) and the Rainier Haiku Ginsha (in Japanese and English). Regular garden admission rates apply (except for haiku group volunteers). Activity locations will depend on the weather. Please join us! (See photo link below.)
