Born on the eleventh month of the eleventh day a decade before the herald of a 2000 A.D., I have never been what you'd call normal. By the first day you meet me you'll find a nerd in glasses with a cheerful smile and a constantly shifting mood. By the second day Ill have deemed you of interest by your refusal to leave by outer appearance alone. By the third day you'll find me not slouching, 6'4", contacts veiling a pair of blue and green eyes, well dressed, and with a deeper and calmer voice. By the fourth day.... you'll have learned enough.

Who am I? I am the son of a United States Air Force Major stationed overseas. I am the American who has lived two years in the Middle East after the 9/11 terrorist bombings. I am the Advice guru that spends his wednesday mornings cheering up a crying kid on the corner of the south hallway. I am the weakest of a water polo team who earned his varsity pin before the season was out. I am the teenager who somehow ends up with the german transfer student without saying a word. I am the insecure, stuttering guy in class who startles everyone when he is published for his fierce political and emotional activism. I am the writer who can stop a suicidal girl. I am the weakling who pushed the car up a hill in the snow to save someone. I am the one who can spend a year forming a persona of absolute serenity yet take the stage during the prom and shock everyone. I am the creator of the December List that states a good deed done for every bad thing that happens to the world. I am the chuckling fool who'd walk 30 miles in dead winter to help someone he cares about.

But regardless, I am me.

My actions are simple. Behind everything I do, everything I say, you will always find a deeper reason hidden below the surface. What interests me, interests me. Nothing more. But I hope I can at least help people for what reason is given to my own existence.
