So it's almost Thanksgiving--happy Thanksgiving to those of you celebrating it, by the way--which means, more than lots of food and sparkling cider, lots of free time to write or at least plot. Not so much on the updating part, though, I'm sorry to say. Mostly because my time will be caught up in the aforementioned writing/plotting.

 

However, I will have you guys know that I'm working on expanding my fandom to include the Smoke series by Tanya Huff. (If you have never heard of Tanya Huff, get your butt off of the computer chair and get yourself down to a bookstore. You are missing out on some really good reads.) That being said, I also have a couple of original story plots that I'm trying to wrangle into something approaching a workable story idea that will probably get abandoned for the next one after about three weeks if my track record is anywhere near accurate

Okay, maybe not quite as much of a big deal as PTSD, but I am currently suffering from whiplash, courtesy of backing my van into the truck. Which means my neck is sore, but I get to get out of doing half the exercises and activities in PE, so the pros and cons kinda cancel out. The upside is that I have plenty of time while walking laps to think about new and existing stories/fanfics. The downside being that it doesn't mean I get out of doing my homework, sticking me with the same amount of nonexistant time to actually write.

 

I'm doing my best for now, though. If I can make the time, I'll hopefully have the first chapter of my new Warchild fic up here in the next week. Also, I hope to have a few more potentially multi-part Gundam Wing fics at a point where I can at least post the first chapters to see if anyone's interested in reading them.

 

On a completely different note, I wouldn't mind hearing some feedback about this site. What you like about it, what confused you, etc. I'm sure you'll be able to think of something to say.

Right. So, this is gonna take me a while, but I hope to establish a regular update schedule where I upload any new chapters/stories and post news about progress and all that. However, at this point, I have almost no time to be on the computer, so...yeah.

 

Anyway, just thought I'd let you know...if there's anyone who actually reads this...

So. I have a journal. Whoot. Don't expect me to update on a daily basis, 'cause there's not enough time in the day to do all I have to do, let alone time for me to spend on here, telling you about what I do. Just don't expect it. Check back every week or two and there should be a new post or two. And if not, there should be some sort of note, telling you that I'll be gone for my yearly therapy session in the Alps and will be unable to update for a month or two, depending on how long the session takes, since I'm going with about a hundred other people. I'm just kidding, but seriously, I'll let you know if I'm going on vacation, if at all possible.

 

On a different note, I have several things now updated to this site! So there's more here than just something about me! I mean, this site is all about me, anyway, but at least now you have something new to read...about me. I'm joking again. You'll actually be reading about characters I've either made up or borrowed temporarily. Same difference, though, right?
