The Polk Library is open from 7:45 to 3:45.
Classes come to the library on a three week schedule.
Circulation Policies
Kinder: 1 book must stay in classroom
1st Grade: 1 book
2nd Grade: 2 books
3rd Grade: 3 books
4th & 5th Grade: 4 books
I encourage Kinder and 1st grade parents to come to the library to check- out additonal books for their children.
Parents may check out up to 10 books.
The Polk Library does not charge overdue fines. If a book is lost or damaged it must be paid for before the student can check out other library materials.

About Me
I love reading English Mysteries, traveling in France, and am the proud mom of three wonderful children, and the grandmother to one darling grandson.
I am a graduate of UTEP with a Bachelor of Science in Education. My teaching fields are in History and English. I hold a Library and Information Science Certification. I have worked in the EPISD district since 1988 and have been a Polk Panther for the last six years.
