This Week in Language Arts: 3/5-3/9
Adverbs and prepositions both went great! We will have a quiz this week on Wednesday that will cover adverbs, adjectives, prepositions, and expository writing skills. We will begin a novel soon, and our next conventions focus will be independent and dependent (subordinate) clauses as well as sentence structure.
LANGUAGE ARTS HELP SESSIONS
If you need help with the current language arts material, you may attend a help session with any of the 6th grade language arts teachers. If you come for a morning help session, please report to the cafeteria. At 7:45 AM, the teacher who is leading that day's help session will come to the cafeteria to pick you up. Help sessions are offered at the following times:
Tuesdays, 7:45-8:25 AM with Mrs. Sherfey
Wednesdays, 7:45-8:25 AM with Ms. Hackler
Thursdays, 7:45-8:25 AM with Mrs. Williams
Thursdays, 4:05-4:45 PM with Ms. Bishop
Fridays, 7:45-8:25 AM with Mrs. Gasser
