"What you do for a living is not be creative, what you do is ship," says bestselling author Seth Godin, arguing that we must quiet our fearful "lizard brains" to avoid sabotaging projects just before we finally finish them.

There are brilliant ideas, and brilliant innovations. The difference? And idea is just an idea, and innovation is an idea that you've moved beyond the idea stage and have developed into a new method or device.

I confess...moving beyond the idea is tough, sometimes it is time, other times it is resources; anyway, moving from an idea to an innovation is a lot of hard work.
