CRATE TRAINING: Starts at 5 weeks. We crate train puppies until they go to their new families. Crate training provides your puppy their own safe space similar to a den, and protects your home/ furniture from puppyhood. (Chewing, and Potty Accidents). We highly encourage buyers to continue crate training when they bring their puppy home.

BASIC OBEDIENCE & LEASH WORK: Puppies are introduced to the leash at 4 weeks and begin learning basic obedience. American Bulldogs are highly intelligent, and also bull headed. We encourage all Rockin Z buyers to continue this training whether they chose to attend our trainings or another puppy training program.  Limit 10

INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED OBEDIENCE: Graduates of our Basic Obedience program can increase their confidence with our advanced Obedience Program. Fine tune great tricks to entertain the people you shop with at the pet supply store, your vet, or the many fans that will stop you at the park and ask about your dog. Have confidence with knowing your dog will focus on you instead of the many other distractions you could face during your walks. This also is a great socialization component for your dog’s growth. Limit 8

Non Rockin Z pups $10/ session

Jr. HANDLER/CONFORMATION: The Jr. Handler/ Conformation training reinforces the skills and desired behaviors of our obedience training and prepares dogs and handlers for showing in conformation. Rockin Z dogs 

have a reputation of success in conformation and we hope to continue this throughout generations. All Rockin Z pups qualify for monetary 

incentives for earning Champion titles. Please refer to our contract for details. We have found that owners with young children and teens benefit greatly from involvement in Jr. Handler Competition. Teamwork, communication and confidence are a few benefits of this program. Our program as well as our dogs  have been highlighted on a National Level. ROCKIN Z PUPS: FREE

NonRockinZ pups: $15/ session

WEIGHT PULL: Our weight pull program provides this working breed with a great outlet, especially for those "drivier" dogs.  We teach proper techniques from basic harness introduction to very large amounts of weight. Although weight pull is a natural task for many american bulldogs, there are many different opionions about training to pull. At Rockin Z we do not compete with any of our dogs in Weight pull until they are 2 years of age. We do work with light weight and carts for training purposes, but any Rockin Z pup that is found to have been pulled with heavy weight before the age of two will void their health guarantee of the contract.
