The GYSA will establish Team Formation Committees (TFC's) for each gender and age group for GYSA Travel Teams (U10 and older). The TFC's perform team selection for all GYSA Division I and II teams for submission to the ECYSA. The TFC uses the player evaluations submitted by the team coaches (U8 included) and the Age Evaluators to determine player strength and appropriate competitive placement of players on GYSA teams.

The actions and decisions of the TFC will remain strictly confidential until the Official Team Roster are released by the GYSA to the coaches.
