If you have an eating disorder there are many ways you can get help, online or from people. Or if you have a loved one who has an eating disorder there are ways you can help them also. When you have a loved one with an eating disorder you cannot force them to change their habits. You must not concentrate on the food; you must concentrate on the emotions. All eating disorders are based on emotional issues or problems. I you are a parent of a child who has an eating disorder you must take them to a doctor of hospital, and keep reminding them that eating disorders are dangerous and very deadly. If you cannot control them (they are older that 18) then you need to listen and encourage them. You have to remember that you are not their therapist and do not pretend it. Give lots of advice and comfort words.
