We are a proud member of The New Jersey Federation of Camera Clubs.

Mission Statement:

The objectives of the Camera Club at Greenbriar @ Whittingham shall be:
  • To provide rewarding experiences for photographers (in the Greenbriar at Whittingham Community) wishing to improve technical and artistic image-making skills.
  • To provide opportunities for its members for hands-on experiences to increase their image-making abilities.
  • To promote the art of photography throughout the Community. This will be accomplished through a combination of lectures/presentations, workshops, field trips, critiques, and competitions led by our more knowledgeable members and guest photographers.

What we do:

The first Wednesday of the month is devoted to a Workshop [usually open to all residents of the community). Workshops may consists of member presentations, guest speakers, and learning seminars [including Photoshop® training].

On the third Wednesday of each month we have competitions. The competitions are open to all residents for viewing but only members-in-good-standing may submit images for the competition.

Competitions provide a means to measure the growth of a
photographer’s skills. Accordingly, the Club holds competitions
in open and theme categories, color and black and white. These are judged and critiqued by qualified judges listed in NJFCC’s Speakers and Judges Lists.

Some of our members also enjoy participating in contests
sponsored by NJFCC and other organizations. These contest  provide rewarding experiences for our members wishing to improve their artistic and image-making skills.
