SleepOver with the Horses Saturday night May 26th

I am hoping to put together a homelearners' sleepover at A & T Equestrian in Cloverdale in May. A small group of us did this a few years ago, when I was awarded a field trip grant. It was a ton of fun for the kids (and the moms and dad)! Unfortunately there is no grant this year, but it's still a fair deal. Please email me off-list if you are interested in joining us or have any questions.

From their website:

"Stay the night in our comfy heated lounge and meeting area.  You'll give the horses their bed time snack and the tuck them into bed. In the morning you will wake up with the horses and begin your program including a great 1 hour lesson.  This program starts at 7pm on Saturday night and goes until 9:30 am Sunday.  Kids will learn hands on horsemanship, grooming and tacking.  Bike helmets and sleeping items etc are required. Snacks and breakfast are not included.  This program requires a min of 8 children.  Parental supervision overnight required.  Includes a large 2 topping pizza and a 2L of pop at 7:30pm. $65/child"

Extra details:

~The only washrooms available to us are outhouses which are outside the barn.

~We sleep above the horses in the lounge, so if you have allergies, come prepared.

~I'll bring a kettle and a bodum press for tea & coffee and a cooler for perishables! ;-)

Thanks,

Kim
