Trip to GuiZhou (2008)

How to help

None of the students in the elementary school we visited had backpacks until we donated one to each student. We hope to continue to improve their conditions by donating money and school supplies.

If you are interested in personally contributing to the children's lives, you can send a letter to the children of Guizhou to show your support. This is extremely important as students are losing motivations to study hard for their own future. Let us talk in details of how to accomplish this.

We are also taking trips to Guizhou in the summer with students from JiaoTong University and would be happy to bring more people with us.
  • Especially, if your children are preparing applications for US college, this is a good way to enrich your resume in addition to their lives.
  • Since this is a joint effort with graduate and undergraduate students from Shanghai JiaoTong University, some of which are originally from GuiZhou, it will be well organized in terms of safty, corporation with local schools and government, and trip arrangements etc.
